What Do Our Coaches Do?
Powerful Teacing and Learning Coaches assist their clients in navigating the change process for the purpose of self-improvement and goal-attainment.
Through confidential inquiry, discovery, and collaboration, a coach works to move the client forward according to the client’s self-defined goals by finding out what works best for them and then helping to define specific action plans.
A coach provides focus, accountability, support, direction, and guided reflection. Coaching is ultimately results-driven; success is measured by the completion of established goals and targets.

How Coaching is Different
Coaching differs from mentorship, consulting, and evaluation. The coaching process is uniquely collaborative - a coach specifically
focuses on assisting the client to identify their own goals and targets, according to their own needs and vision.
- Coaching is not evaluative.
- A coach does not impose their own agenda or come to the relationship with a specific skill to impart - the focus is on drawing out what the individual client needs and them getting them there.
- Coaching is not a punishment or corrective action for perceived underachievers - coaching is a privilege and a powerful process utilized by many Fortune 100 CEOs. Coaching helps you take it to the next level, regardless of where you're starting from.
How It Works
Coaching is a personal, one-on-one relationship. Coaching sessions can occur in person or over the phone, depending on geographic proximity and/or the coachee's schedule.
Daily rates are available in cases where schools or districts may be inclined to bring a coach in to meet with several educational professionals over the course of one day. Hourly rates apply to phone coaching sessions. Rates vary based on the skill and experience level of the coach. Read on to meet our coaching team (below).
Custom coaching programs are available - please contact us if you would like to discuss how to get started with a coaching implementation in your school or district.
